1) I have a classroom! (ask the students last year about my cart...not the most fun thing)
2) I'm teaching Algebra I! (I've done that a few times before, and I'm excited to hopefully give my students a solid math foundation for the rest of their high school careers... and beyond)
3) I have a blog! (I hope that this blog helps you (students, parents) keep up with what is going on in Algebra I)
4) Paideia Projects! (Just wait...you'll see. It's going to be awesome)
5) I get to be on the 9th grade team! (Maybe I'm biased, but I'm pretty sure it's one of the best teams of teachers in the school) :)
I hope that you are excited about this year and all that will come with it. Math isn't something to be afraid of or something to dread...though some of you may feel that way now. I'm hoping if you feel that way, this will be the year to change that :)
