Hello, all! I'm sorry I did not post anything yesterday!
Yesterday, 1/18, we reviewed three of the most missed concepts from the last test. Students received their graded test, any graded work, and progress reports from Algebra class. With the remaining time, students were allowed to work on either test corrections or make-up work.
NOTES: Make-up work or missing work is due by Friday. Test corrections are due Monday.
THURSDAY, 1/19:
I was at a Professional Development called "Demonstration Schools" all day today. It was pretty great...I learned a lot!
While I was there, my students in Algebra had two main tasks to work on (besides doing any make-up work or test corrections). Students had a partner quiz on 5-1 and 5-2. They were allowed to use their notes, their book, and their partner to figure out how to do the problems on the quiz. After turning in the quiz to the sub, students received a problem solving worksheet to help them work on problem solving skills using what they know about linear functions and intercepts.
Due tomorrow: Practice Problem Solving Worksheet
(Quizzes should have been turned in to the sub).
